This young man brought his little brother to us with pneumonia, malaria, and a painful ear infection. Pneumonia and malaria are the two most common causes of childhood mortality in Ghana. This concerned big brother knew such a sick baby needed help.
We are now ready to apply for government inspection so our clinic can officially open as an independent Yonkofa clinic! We need to ship a cargo container, this one full of medicine and medical supplies to stock the clinic.
All the supplies are donated . . . . and have a value of over 1 million dollars!
However, we need to pay to ship the donated goods from different medical organizations to the loading dock, load the 40 foot cargo container, ship it to the port of Savannah, then overseas to Ghana, and finally 13 hours from the port in Ghana to the clinic site. This will cost $12,000. Please help us in this last step!
.... Think how many more kids we can help when we are open permanently, with full-time Ghanaian nurses running the clinic!
These medicines and medical supplies are desperately needed in Ghana. We are so grateful to have them donated. Please help us get them to Ghana!
